Hua Hin,
Thailand’s first beach resort, was made famous by Bangkok’s
aristocracy during the early 1920’s and is now a major
international beach resort with brand named hotels and beach
resorts. This once sleepy fishing town still holds its charm, and
“Thai” style identity. Located only 220 kms South of Bangkok Hua
Hin has nice beaches and is set with a backdrop of over 2000
square kilometers of National Parkland, which includes some of the

Located 80 kms
South, the Sam Roi Yod National Park is a natural abundance of
Mangroves and wild bird life. Take a half day excursion to see
this beauty spot, with a boat trip to see “Bangkok Pu” fishing
Village, and Phrya Nakhorn Cave.

Petchaburi Summer
Palace :
The setting for
the famous story “The King and I” Petchaburi province is one of
the oldest in Thailand, and its history dates back further than
the “Ayutthaya” dynasty. Located 65 kms North of Hua Hin, a visit
to see the famous National heritage Summer Palace of King Rama 4
is a must. Take a cable car up to the mountain top palace museum.
We also visit some lovely caves, and Khmer architecture dating
back over 2000 years.

This excursion,
originally devised by us, takes in Hua Hin and Cha-Am’s places of
interest. Visit Monkey Mountain,
( Khao Takieb) which is a monestary and place of Buddhist
sanctuary. as well as a visit to Cha-Am we also take in the
beautiful summer palace of King Rama 6, and a
visit to her majesty the Queens animal sanctuary, which is a
rehabilitation centre for miss treated animals.

Floating Market :
A glimpse of
everyday life in Thailand is a must, and can be seen at the famous
Damnern Saduak floating market. Take an exhilarating narrow
long-tailed speedboat ride through the marsh canals and see
traditional stilt houses and small villages, before arriving at
this unique market. Thai style canoes laden with colorful fruits,
vegetables, sweets and meats gently ply their way through the
canal, going about their daily business.
River Kwai :
Only 2.5 hrs North
West from Hua Hin, is the infamous River Kwai. Take a full day
excursion to see the original bridge and “death railway” which was
constructed by POW’s from world war 2. Over 300,000 workers lost
their lives constructing this railway project, which was a major
fete of engineering and technology for its day. We also visit the
JEATH museum, and train journey to Sai Yok, close to Burma.
